Garden Week 2001

This garden was designed by Colin Barlow of GFE and constructed with the help of students from The Challenger Institute of Technology. The aim of the garden was to create a Mexican' inspired garden with authentic architecture, plants and water features, materials and colours. Large cacti and palms from Mexico were teamed with colourful Bougainvilleas and specially made blocks from Archistone. This stand out colourful garden was a hit with the public providing lots of ideas to use in their own garden. The garden was awarded a Gold Medal in the display garden category.
