Lakeside Environmental Retreat. Overlooking the picturesque Lake Goollelal and adjacent to the Yellalonga National Park, the design and construction of Woodlake Aged Care Facility needed to consider rigid environmental constraints and water efficiency guidelines.  A resort style building and multi level site presented challenges to integrate them into the local environment.

Close collaboration with local authorities ensured the successful development of the project. Indigenous lakeside plantings with exotic themed courtyards now provide year round interest, enhancing the resort style theme. GFE developed maintenance programs to conform to environmental guidelines.
