Courtyard couture.  GFE was asked to redevelop two courtyards that had been sadly neglected over a number of years The existing trees and plants were overgrown and the courtyards hardly used at all.  The brief was to create a sensory' landscaped setting to engage the residents and provide a useable outdoor setting for residents and their families to enjoy.

New gazebos, seating, shade sails, water features and raised garden beds were installed to provide practical outdoor areas for year round use.  Plants were chosen to enhance the senses of sight, touch, smell, taste and hearing by growing vegetables, herbs, fruit and colourful scented plants and flowers. These also encouraged birds and wildlife to the garden.
