River Views. The refurbishment of this aged care facility required the development of a community courtyard overlooking the river. Environmental and sustainable methods were incorporated to reduce run-off into the river. Bank stabilisation using indigenous plantings were chosen to reduce erosion and increase habitat for birds and wildlife. Colourful soft plantings evoked memories of youth for many residents.
